Was looking at covers for rear differential on my 2013 Ram 5.7 lsd. I really just wanted a cover I could drain easily, but seen the G2 for around $116 and the one that has carrier bolt support for around $160, is either worth getting? I haven't found much online about Ram owners with them. I tow all summer but is lighter load at around 4,100 pound loaded(travel trailer).

The factory setup has a drain plug at the bottom & a rubber cap in the middle for refil. Unlike old factory units it’s now quick & easy to service.

As stated above you should have a drain plug & filler hole ...see pics below.

If you tow a lot there are several extra oil capacity differential covers out there for cooler oil temps ... Mag-Hyteck is a nice one ..c69cfb04781cd2d0109c6cb29c90df7e.jpg67ae6507a95bc4f2c33cedc3962d8054.jpga6717256578d4bc2c2339af401afac77.jpg

Nice, sounds good, guess it isn't needed! I tow 4k pounds max around 6 to 8 times a summer. I will just fill with valvoline 75w140 limited slip synthetic. Can't believe dealer wanted $250 to just change the gear oil in rear, I paid $10 each for 1 quart of fluid, bought 2.

If you did not use a full synthetic, shorten your change interval.

Sorry for delay, should be on Nitro Gear site.

Track bar is right on it. But lifted truck may vary compared to stock. But rides right on it. But no visible marks
