Hi all. Building a new garage and want to install a really nice sound system in it. The garage is going to be 1300 sq feet so I need lots of volume and also high quality sound. I did a search on the forum for some ideas but didn't see much. If you know of a link to another thread let me know.

So what is everyone doing for a sound system (I'm talking more than the usual bench radio)?

Here's what I did just last week. I started out cleaning, got a new TV, and then this happened:

The sound in here is amazing. There's one more half stack to plug in and replace that small fridge too, just need to pick up a few more 1/4" cables. I used to be in a few bands and that PA and those amps were just sitting around doing nothing. I also set up a wifi extender so I can get just about anything out there over the net, whether through the TV streaming or screen cast from my laptop, and I can also jam to it. Plug n Play.

I have a Flatscreen, a Fridge/Freezer combo and an Alexia. I have Sirius XM on it and Amazon Music. I usually just keep it on Sirius XM Rockbar.

What about some Sonos? Ive heard they are loud and you can add a bunch if not loud enough.

I use my only garage as a workshop
I do have 2 TVs with sound bars

I left the clear plastic screen over the faces of the Tvs.
I do a lot of grinding out there & the metal sparks go every where
