I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 liter at 15000 miles. When I stop at a red light my oil pressure gauge drops to low and the check gauges light comes on, the gas pedal will stop working and the steering wheel locks up. I have to put the truck in park and turn it off than back on to get the truck to work again.

Hook a mechanical oil pressure gauge up to it and see if it’s low pressure or a bad sending unit.

Check your battery and/or alternator, its possible the voltage is going low enough the vehicle will do weird things. If battery is dropping below 12V overnight (ideally more like 12.5V) the one of the cells is going bad.
Was that a typo that a 2006 truck(14 yrs old) with only 15K? or should there be another 0 in the mileage (150K miles)?
