My brother has a 2012 Ram 1500 3.7L base model manual everything. He wanted to change the cluster color for the gauges. When I have done this in the past I have been able to do an LED swap but I cant seem to find any formation on this for the 4th gen only 3rd and second.

Can the cluster bulbs be changed to LED?
What size do I need?
How many?

As far as I know, the 4th gen dash lights are already LEDs, and they're surface mounted so soldering would be required to change them out. You MIGHT be able to cover them with some gel film to change the color.

Thanks sounds like I might have to get out the soldering iron if he wants to do that. I am an electrical engineer with a lot of prototype experience I should eb able to.

Did you ever do any modding to the cluster LEDs? We're you able to find out any part numbers?
