IMHO it would be cheaper for people to get the new gears and an install kit from Moe's and have a well trained tech do the gear swap for you instead of having a dealer do it. Dealers flat rate, at least in my area is well over $100 per hour. You also need to remember that the gear set themselves have recently gotten more expensive---lots more expensive.

My guess is......$1000. Money well spent. Still a bit of a shame tho. When I ordered my Wrangler, I got 3.73s (as opposed to 3.21s) for like $75 more.

1M, You're going to have something pretty cool, and unique. RCSB, Pentastar, with 3.92s. There can't be very many of those running around. I'd love to drive it.

The local dealer here in Kingman Az just quoted me "around" $3000 to do a gear swap to either 3.55's or 3.92's in my 2018 1500 RCSB 2wd,.

A brand new complete with housing Mopar 3.55 LSD axle assembly from Benny is $1650 ish. WTF

For the price the dealer gave you, you could find an expert in setting up rear ends, fly him and his tools to your house, pay for his lodging and meals and fly him home and still be ahead in costs.

Yup, for that price maybe even Austin Coil :gathering:. Stealerships crack me up with their prices and the mods they insist can't be done to our RAM trucks.
