I'm running a 318 Magnum, A518H, 35's and 4.56's. REALLY helps the ol' gal to get OUT of her own way - gets 10mpg on the highway! Only 6 around town.

Well I haven't really tracked my mileage yet. But I've been meaning to but keep forgetting at the pump. But just a quick estimite from last week I'm only getting around 7mpg. That's average and 3/4 of my driving is highway.

I'm running 35s and 4.56 gears. She'll move like a fat chick towards a plate of brownies, and shell get **** mileage on flat ground, but out where I'm at there are hills for days. Its out of necessity. IMO, it depends what terrain you're driving on. Flat ground and highway, lower ratio. Hill cruising or towing, go higher. At least that's how I always understood it.
