Gen4 no vct or mds

Anyone , can you get the 4th gen without vct or mds . I’d like to get a 9,10,or11. 5.7 hemi . But I don’t want any of this on it.

Nope. You can delete the mds and lock out the VVT yourself,if you want to do a cam / lifter swap and delete the MDS solenoids with Ma Mopars MDS plugs.

only way to get around that is find the HD they do not have MDS like my 2500 HD

So the 2500 is non mds ! What type of oil does the gen4 2500 take ? 15-40 like the gen3. I only ask because I don’t want a engine I’ve got to change cam/lifters at or around 100k. My gen3 has right at 300k. have used 15/40 & 20/50 castrol. Lots of idle time & freeway driving
