about 10 or 15 years ago, two young women were driving in a Jeep Wrangler with tires sticking way out, kinda like your pic. They were in the right lane of a four lane road, (Ballard Bridge in Seattle ), crossing the Seattle Ship Canal. The driver got too close to the 1' tall bridge curb, and the tires climbed the curb, then the railing, and then the Jeep went over the side of the bridge. It's probably at least 75' to the water surface. They speculated the tires just ****** her hands off the steering wheel, and they were just along for the ride after that. They both died.
That is crazy!

Yah your Maxtrac spindles push your front out even further. Your front wheels are technically at about a -82 offset...damn lol.

DAMN that's a scary thought, I think the spindles do 0.5"-1" of extra width to the truck

I saw thought I saw somewhere 1.5" which is what I based my 82 offset off of but I definitely could be wrong.

I just ordered 20x10 -12 wheels but I was seriously considering -24. I was (and am) concerned about the trimming going to 35s.

I can understand that.

Chopping up a brand new truck doesn't sound like my cup-o-tea.

I test fit the 20x10 -24 with MT 35s before I ordered. Would have had to trim plastic with the -24. With -12 we are thinking that we may not need to trim. If trimming is needed then I am going to stick with a 33x12.5 tire. We shall see... wheels come in this week.

I'm going to be downsizing from a 20X12 -44 offset to a reasonable 20x10 -19 offset. This should help with strain on the hubs. Currently I stick out 5"+ from the fenders in the front.

VegasDragger45 - what tires are you going to run?

I have never heard of Hercules until today, I just looked at their site and they have some nice looking tires! Are you running Hercules now?
