Hi guys/gals, so after months of searching and reaching out to shops who either give me the run around or don't even reply to me I found a shop that will put a lift on my truck and in fact has a package deal that includes the lift, new wheels, and tires, plus do all the necessary alignments for me. Their pretty reputable and have been excellent with me it's just that there about an hour away from where I live and I have to wait till my new wheels arrive at the shop (I HATE waiting lol) I have a 2016 Sport Crew Cab 4x4 and the price of this package is $5400cdn + taxes.

The kit includes the following.

K2084B Pro Comp Stage 1 6" lift.
Fuel Mavericks all black 20 x 10" wheels with -12 offset.
Amp Terrain Pro A/T P 325/60/20 tires.

I am also having them to install a pair of Bilstein 5100 shocks in the front which they say they can do but it has to be at set at stock height.

My question is what am I in for? Is this a good package with quality parts? How much of a real difference will there be in height and driving feel? How far will the tires stick out past the fender? I have a set of fender flares but I'm not sure if I want to install them or not. There are a lot of lifted trucks near me but most are Chevy's and Fords and the few Rams I see are jacked way higher than I want. I have a 8spd with 3:21 so I know my acceleration will be slower but what about shift points for the transmission? I'm not getting a tune or anything since I still have years on my warranty but I am thinking of getting a Pedal Commander at some point to offset the larger tires a slower feel. I know that this kit uses spacers and that some members don't like that, are spacers really that bad? Any info or feedback would be great, I've been wanting a lift for years I just don't want to spend thousands and find out that what I received isn't what I was expecting lol.

You will be very happy. ProComp makes a really good lift and you can’t go wrong with Fuel wheels. Custom offsets has a gallery on their website that you can enter your info into and it will show guys with that wheel size and offset. You might get lucky and find one that has a procomp kit too. -12 is not aggressive though so your fender flares will still be optional

Cool thanks for the advise! I was a little surprised that the package came with 325/60/20 tires instead of your usual 35 x 12.5" but from my research the 325's are actually a tad larger then the 35's.

Procomp is a great kit, if you can swing the extra money, you should get the optional Front MX2.75 Coilover Shocks instead of the bilsteins

Kit K2084BMX

325's are a great size for 20x10's, I have 37's on mine but if I ever go to a smaller size I will go to 325's

Thank you for the reply, I was thinking about getting proper coilovers but right now I can't afford. But that is something that could be added later on correct? I would also love to get 37's but the price of the tires are prohibitive right now (gotta buy my girlfriends son his first beater car lol) plus I'm worried about the extra mass of the larger tires plus the effect it would have on my gearing. I have 3:21's right now and if I put 37's on it would probably run like a dog without extensive modifications.

My bilsteins are also set low right now (.7” lift). So pretty much stock height for the front assembly.

I love the procomp kit and it rides great and gave it just enough of an adjustment in ride height for what I was looking for.

Imo- going with 0” on the front Bilsteins will give the truck just a little too much rake. I wish mine were at 2.1” but oh well I can live with the .7” for now.

As for the 325/60 tires I think they’ll be perfect as well. They’re a hair taller than 35s but wider than 12.5s so they’ll look great as well.

Here’s a pic of mine if you want a rough look at a procomp with front struts set close to factory height and 35s.....

I also incl a pic of it stock bc sometimes you have to be reminded just how ridiculously low these 1500s come from the factory. Bc I swear I can look at my truck after a few months and feel like it’s tiny again lol

Awesome truck you got there and that's the look I'm hoping for. Like you I can't stand just how low the stock Ram is it's almost emasculating when you have some suv's with soccer mom's looking down at you at stop lights lol.

Yes you can add the procomp coilovers later. The procomp kit lifts the rear 4.5” so Bilsteins set at 0.0 will leave you with some rake.

Measure your fender height front and rear from ground to middle of fender opening and let us know

Will do once I get it done, I don't mind a bit of rake though. Nows the hard part just waiting for the shop to call, I hate waiting lol.

Lol my bad I was on my fourth beer, yup I'll measure so I can have a comparative number to the lifted dimensions.

It’s always good to measure all 4 corners before. I have seen many members say there truck leans to one side or question the rake and when you ask them what was it like before they don’t know because they have no before measurements.

It’s actually part of the instructions on your kit (page 7)

That's good to know, I just downloaded the instructions and will print out that page and fill it out to keep in my records.

I've got a 4" Superlift kit on my Ram with 20x9 -12mm rims and 35's.

I've got Bushwacker fender flares on mine, but at one point had taken them off and took some pics with them off. I'll try to find them so you can see roughly how much poke I have...I know your 20x10's will stick out a little more.

The 325-60-20's are definitely a beefier tire that the 35's. I wanted to get that size but in the Cooper STT Pro's the 325-60-20's were not available & I really wanted the STT Pro's.

So what shop did you find that's going to do your lift? There aren't many in the greater Toronto area. I know 4WheelParts does them but they are pricey.

I found a small shop in Burlington that specializes in 4x4's. Their prices are reasonable and they do excellent work. I bought my Bilstein 5100's from them.

It is definitely tough finding a half decent shop willing to do work like this. It's not like the States where shops like these are common and getting a lift done is pretty routine.

I'm going to Auto FX in Hamilton, did some research and like any shop you get mixed reviews so all you can do is see for yourself. I tried Overdrive in Newmarket, and tried to contacted Greentree here in Orangeville and 4 Wheel Parts in Burlington. Most gave me the runaround or didn't even bother to reply me. Going to the dealership was out of the question since their pretty much useless and overpriced and the rest of the shops here just don't have the experience in doing major work like this. Hopefully it all works out but getting work done like this always has that small chance of a screw-up.

You'll have to let me know how you make out with Auto FX.

Here are some pics of my Ram with the Bushwackers off so you can see how far the 20x9's protrude.
