I have a 2012 Ram 1500 with the base stereo, no bluetooth, just the base one. My brother-in-law bought a 2012 Ram also and he said something about charging his phone with the USB in the glovebox...i was like "UH???"
He does have the base radio, but a step up from mine I guess because he has bluetooth. And hands free.
I checked my glovebox and there is a black plug with a wire on it, if i take off the blank plug there is a some kind of connector on it.
Is there a way to put a connector on it to make it usb, even if it is to just charge my phone which is really all i want?
And if there is a way to make this USB, will it work with my current radio?
