Ok, I have a 2013 SCSB ram with a Belltech 2/4...well I bought some 20's and have 275/40/20 tires...it dropped 2" lower all around and looks decent so I was wanting to drop it 1/1 more than what it is. Is it ok to cut the springs and not have to do any OTHER mods? Thanks guys.

And I don't know how to post pics but if you have an instagram and want to see it mine is "slobraftw"

Mine is is cut .5 coil up front and 1.5 on the back to make 3/5.5ish drop with bell tech its fine just find a way to cut it quick with out a lot of heat I used a portable band saw the first time and used a cut off wheel to cut off the other half a coil your going to need bump stops like the front ones in the back if that makes since and I just cut my front ones or else you'll hit them constantly well mime did at least

Note: may not be able to get camber in spec after I can't I'm -1.# degrees on both sides but some have had luck and hit right on spec at max adjustment

don't know if this will help at all since im 4wd. W/ a mix of parts thats about a 2/4 drop (mcgaughys 4" in the rear and cut stock coils up front)

My camber is at max adjustment and im just barely out of spec.

Can I still drive it safely without cutting the bump stops?

And do I NEED them in the back? The bump stops they go in the front to put in the back?...my main question is, leave it as is...just cut 1/2 coil in the front and 1 coil in the back...is it drivable and safe?

Bump stop PNs
Front 4922 1.25" tall
Back 4923 2" tall need to find a way to mount them

Personally I wouldn't run with out them it hits hard but Houston does has ****y roads

Just save the 65 bucks and put them on when you cut them its not called modification for nothing

All this is my personal opinion to try and save you some time as I did what you want to to do I tried not changing the stop took them off it rides rough with the OE ones rides horrible with out them when it does hit
