Was leaving work today. Went down the one highway that I normally take. They've had one lane closed down for over 2 weeks now replacing whole section of the highway. Get past the construction site, open it up and got moving about 70 MPH or so.....low tire pressure kicks on in the EVIC....20psi on the passenger side rear tire.

Lower my passenger mirror to look and the damn tire is about on the rim. Pull over and stop. Check and it's flat.

Roadside tire change with the spare and get back moving. Was 5 minutes late to the range for instruction.

Now I have to drive the Charger until I get the tire checked whether I can put a patch in there or use my road hazard from Discount Tire Direct.....

I might, will check and see what happened with the tire. I couldn't find anything that might have caused it to go flat....

Could be a busted cord separation can cause them lo act like a blow out but just loose air quickly without being blown

:wtf2:

I hope not. Will see. Maybe I am not seeing it. I'll have it checked to make sure....

Ok, further bit of an update....had the local shop check the tire. I apparently drove over a bolt (assuming a smallish lag style) that punctured the tire in between the tread blocks. It wasn't in the tire when I checked and did not see it with the quick look I did.

They patched/plugged it. My friend works there and I trust him with work on the truck.

Glad it wasn’t totally destroyed. Those patchplugs are awesome I’ve heard they work on the sidewalls too

Only problem now is I have to clean up the truck and pay attention to the passenger side rear rim because it has fingerprints and stuff on it...LOL
