Duane, my take on Granatelli products is they are good high end items. But I have a problem with their install instructions. The instructions that came with my switch, first states that the instruction is "preliminary" and colors may change on the actual unit. That is not helpful when the wire color identifys how to actually install the unit. If you go to the website and look at the download manuals, they identify the "dual window switch" with identical icons, one manual is the same as that was included with the unit I got and the other manual has serious conflicting information. No where does it give a breakdown of all 8 wires. Do you have experience on how to install this unit? My conclusion at this point is that they don't sell many of these units and have them installed by the purchaser. Any help is appreciated.

Sir, I have no experience installing those. I just recently became an authorized dealer of theirs, so I would recommend calling them direct and talking to them. They are really good people and should be more than willing to help you.

The install information and the website have conflicting information. I called them and they where very helpful in providing the following information.
There are eight wires on the unit and it goes like this:

Note: not all the wires need to be connected ie, tach output, RPM input hi or lo and TPS. Depending upon setup and use.

1. Red= 12vdc input
2. Blk= Grnd
3. Purple= Sw1
4. Blu= Sw2
5. Grn= TPS input
6. Org= Tach output
7. Yel= RPM input 12v
8. Wht= RPM input low voltage

Hope this helps anyone installing the window switch.
