The "chrome" on my 07 grill started to wrinkle a while back and so I was looking into buying something aftermarket. I just ordered a new front bumper and decided to pull my grill and try refinishing it. I started peeling the chrome foil off the grill and was surprised how easily it came off. An hour later my grill is 100% the unfinished plastic. I've never seen one stripped like this. I was thinking about spraying plasti dip in flat black on it. Any ideas or recommendations? My truck is white and I have a satin black Chassis Unlimited grill coming. Look forward to your thoughts. Thank you

If you do plasti dip, what about painting same colour as truck, white in your case. You could do flat black, but I think it would be nicer as the truck colour with satin black grille colour. Then you could plasti dip the emblem black. If you do decide to do black like the grille you ordered, paint it all together, grille and cowl, so the blacks will be a match.
