The unit in the truck will not work all of the time. Can just replace that unit or do I have replaced everything again. This stay up sometimes for 30 minutes before it might kick to normal.

This stay up sometimes for 30 minutes before it might kick to if you want to replace the unit then you’ll have to deprogram it from the truck. If your happy with the way it performs then I would remove it from the truck and put it someplace safe. Then I would buy something like an Edge Insight monitor just to keep an eye on things. Technically the H&S stuff is illegal and the company went out of business like 7-8 years ago so finding a new one might be difficult and expensive. Also be aware of counterfeit tuners. Apparently in the past people would take a bully dog tuner wipe it and then put H&S programming on it. Just my two cents worth.

Looking to see if I could just switch the display to a Bulldog display as the main box under the hood is a bulldog but my display is a H&S

If the main box is bullydog, then that should work better as the display

Just asking another question could the display be the problem. I have reset everything and the truck runs fine but the display freezes sometimes.

It’s absolutely just the display. If your totally happy with the current tune as is and just need to monitor what’s going on switch it out for an Edge CTS monitor or BullyDog monitor (these are strictly for keeping an eye on what’s happening they don’t/can’t change anything) and put the H&S in a safe cool place. More than likely the electronics inside the H&S unit are starting to break down a little bit because of heat in the cab in the summer etc. etc.
