I've got short tube headers running back to 2.5 inch pipe. The whole set up was done in august 2012 so its fairly new. I don't have much experience with exhaust but i think its leaking out of the flanges where the headers bolt up to the pipe on the passenger side. There's soot and what not all up in there. What i'm wondering is, is the pipe supposed to butt up right flat with each other or is there supposed to be a bit of play in there? I got up under there and the bolts were loose and I tightened them down as tight as i could. This pic is what it looks like now.

thanks.
