Header Upgrade

Looking to upgrade my headers. I have the Borla S-Type cat-back exhaust system already installed from 5 years ago. I don't want it to be super loud. Was looking at JBA long tube headers, but should I also have a new Y Pipe installed or get the JBA Y Pipe? Any recommendations would be helpful. Thank you

You'll need the JBA "Y" pipe,as the long tube headers won't bolt up to your factory mid pipe

Just do a custom true dual with the JBAs.

I recommend going with a high quality kit like ARH or Stainless Works. No matter what long tube headers you go with you NEED to use an aftermarket y pipe unless you plan to go with shorties. Long tubes will offer the most power gains. If you go with a catted y pipe it wont be too much louder.

All I have experience with is 1 3/4 primaries catless SW. I have some issues that are getting sorted out and applaud SW for taking care of them. As for fitment, SW is IMO is top notch and the connections are so tight you need a good hammer and piece of wood. Take your time with the dipstick routing, you’ll thank me later. And keep some cold ones available you’ll need them for the install. The power (even with mine pulling timing) on the mid/top end is night and day.
