The 2 will definitely make a noticable differance. Whether you think they're worth the money is your call, but you will feel a differance in the butt dyno. My truck went from 14.1's with a Diablo canned 93 tune to high 13.40's with JBA long tubes and a custom HP dyno tune.

My guess is I'll be back to a stockish feel with these heavy ass wheels. I've been considering switching to a ecodiesel gladiator since I love the jl we have. And those guys on that forum are getting insane mpg even with 37s lol.

If you are running 37's on that Ram then you need to regear for best results
37's with a 3.21 will give actual 2.86
37's with a 3.92 will give actual 3.50

Headers & custom tune will feel more responsive with optimum gear already in place.
How do I know.....been there.....LoL

Iven been on 37s and 3.21 and never had any issues.

ARH are the best headers hands down.

Stainless Works long tubes are slowly gaining favour over the ARH's these days. Both are top of the line headers, but if you have that kind of budget, for either,i'd spring for the Stainless Works versions these days.

You must keep it out of overdrive & don't tow........2.68 true gear ratio are for cars & or less weight or it would have been an option from the factory

I can see from a dig the 8-speed would probably do okay until overdrive came up.
I had the 6-speed with 3.55 gear & 35-inch tires......mine was a dog off the line.....LoL

By the time you get a "good" set of headers(long tube) and a tuner, PCM and a custom tune you're probably looking at around 3k if that helps with your decision. Are they worth it is strictly your call, but a lot of us that have already done the same mods sure think so---

I'm on the fence about doing full ARH headers and a tune as well.

I'm new to the Hemi platform, was in the diesel game for 15 years previously.

Say more.....why? I'm another ready to spring for long tubes Q1 or Q2 2021.

Either brand are good, but a few of the fastest Rams have switched from ARH's to Stainless Works headers lately. If you're looking at the higher end long tubes, definitely look at the SW headers to.

They are a real quality brand. Have a much bigger footprint in the mustang/Camaro world.

Always liked their cat back (two mufflers; one on each side after the y pipe) as I thought it was a great sound and unique.

I even spoke to them a couple months ago about if they are going to redo their gen 4 exhaust offerings to match (legend v redline series).

They said they plan to but not sure when as they were busy with a lot of me R&D for new cars (ie new Vette). But they offered to allow me to order the gen 4 kit with redline mufflers if I wanted. (I was hesitant without knowing for sure how it would sound)

Here’s a well done comparison showing their headers and cat backs.

They have quietly built a name for themselves in performance communities from what my mechanic brother in law says.

If anyone has followed the modern muscle performance Ram 1500 “venom” them are building. It’s got stainless works on it...

Long tube headers and a custom tune will increase the performance of your Ram more than most other mod's you can do with the exception of happy gas or a turbo or supercharger.
