That's great, thank you for clarifying as I had obviously missed this step.

As an update, the bolt with part number 68222835AA is not the correct bolt for the lower headlight mounting through the spacer (68222836AA). This bolt is too short and is in fact the bolt used for the upper headlight fixing. The bolt that is required to secure the headlight through the spacer needs to be approximately 50 mm in length. However, I'm unsure of the part number for this?

In addition, the u nut with part number 6105242AA is approximately 20 mm in width. Although this fits and may be used to secure the headlight through the spacer, it's a little too wide and it pushes on the the spacer lugs. The original u nut is approximately 16 mm in width. Both u nuts are approximately 25 mm in length which is fine. It would be good to find a u nut of similar width to the original.

Other than the colour, that looks to be the correct size bolt, yes. However, I can't find any details to confirm this.

I have just encountered this same issue when ordering the bolt in question. It is the bolt for the top headlight and looks like mopars catalog is incorrect. 68222835AA look to be the same as the top headlight bolt. The u clip is the right thread pitch but too wide to slide in the guides on the plastic headlight bracket. The bolt in the top right corner Benny posted is the actual correct bolt that we are looking for. Benny to the rescue?

Im thinking the only way to get this bolt is with the fastener kit. For a Diesel application there is actually a different kit than mentioned above. It's part # 68050778AA and includes the following

Let me know what you think

Benny,
Looks like the battery hold down bolt may work. It is a little longer but looks like it may work And hopefully not bottom out. I will know in a few days when I get the bolts

If we know the size and thread pitch, why not just go to the local hardware store and pick up said bolt from them. It's not a structural piece of hardware. Any decent hardware store should have a bolt that size in stainless and carbon steel, hex, flat, or button head.
