My headlight and fog light on the drivers side on my 2011 truck flicker and sometimes will not come on unless I get out and hit it pretty hard with my hand. The other night I was driving and both fog lights as well as the left headlight turned off. I just replaced the bulbs in the headlight but the problem is back. Does this have something to do with a few lights on my dash being on when they aren't supposed to be? My emergency brake light, ABS light, traction control, and a couple more lights are always on. Anyone have an idea what this could be?

When I first got my '09 (used), the passenger side headlight kept going out. The dealer replaced the bulb, but it did it again. After some looking online, it seems the connectors aren't the greatest and sometimes start to lose connection. A good thump/bump will sometimes work, sometimes not. Some people will tell you to get new connectors, but I took the headlights out, slightly twisted the flat pins inside the male connector, put in some di-electric and they've been fine ever since.
