Hey there, I need some help.
I purchased my 2014 ram 1500 Express in September. I had it checked out and all looked good. Last week one of my headlights went out. No worries, lightbulbs burn out easy fix (except having to take the damn grill off - lol).
So purchase the bulbs (might as well do both while I'm in there) open him up and come across something that can only be described as the product of a confused mind. So I start disassembling more to get to the bulb because it's not set up like it a normal projector light.
There's duct tape, lots of wires that I wasn't able to completely identify and when I finally accessed the bulb it is NOT the bulb I thought it would be.
I've searched the entire set up, wires, bulbs, etc for some indication of what bulb it is to do a replacement and I'm not able to find anything on it.
Now I'm wondering if my issue may have been a wiring issue rather than a bulb issue because this is a hot mess on a cracker.
Can anyone provide some insight on where to start to fix this mess? Is this some sort of LED conversion kit that the previous owner installed? Do I need a whole new set of headlights and wiring assemblies?
Or can anyone identify this bulb (which I'm thinking isn't the problem) so I can try to replace it and put the mess all back together.
