What resistors did you use?

Check my "left headlight fix" thread.
Also recommend Cougar Motor LED lights with built-in fans & CANBUS decoders.

Did the truck come with working headlights?

Depends on your definition of working? I couldn't even tell my stock ones were on, to me that wasn't working.

Ah, you mean they came from the factory aimed properly and engineered to SAE standards so they wouldn't produce excessive glare nor waste light illuminating the road directly under your bumper?

Unfortunately ram falls at the bare minimum standards

It's weird how they work properly for most people.

I mean that when they were on, I couldn't tell the difference of when they were on or off. They must be going by 1950's standard for acceptable light output. Funny how so many upgrade because they find the stock lighting unacceptable.

Funny how even ram FINALLY started putting better lights in most of the 5th gens other than the lower trim levels. Once again, if they bother you that much I feel bad for your driving future cause halogens are going extinct and I feel like you are going to be increasingly bothered while driving as time goes on.

I can feel the density of your hurt through the screen.

I don't mind at all if halogen is replaced with something better. We disagree on what actually constitutes better.

You mind explaining how OE lamps relate to OP's janky retrofits that don't work?

You're battling over stock headlights whether they are acceptable or not. Simply proving info that ram stock headlights are poor and that's why people try and improve them. Whether or not his upgrade is "janky" or not has nothing to do with any of your comments or even a question to potentially find a solution to his problem. Your only question was did they work. And he stated in his original question they were and now is having a problem

Yes the hurt is extreme, how perceptive. Annoyed would be the more accurate term, I do find it funny that you can't seem to stay out of these threads though. I know you're an intelligent person but you just can't seem to help yourself.

Could be a issue with the resistors. I'd look into canbus adapters

I used led eagle. Other than my issue with the high beam seal not fitting properly as the lights are to long, the actual light output is phenomenal and they claim to be DOT approved.

I changed for the same reason, I found it dangerous to drive at night in my rural area. The halogens gave no light.
