You can get HIDs for the same price as the Silverstars.......but you already have them, so that's cool. No CANBUS issues for you!

crud....didnt think about that....will have to verify when the truck gets here. they are currently in my 94 GMC.

I doubt they're the same, but you never know... Also, SS bulbs don't last long if you're using them on a regular basis. If I got a year out of them, I was doing well. I've got the stock bulbs in my G8 and they're over 4 and half years old. I decided to stick with stock for that reason alone. HID's are great, but unless they're OEM, they're (IMO) not reliable enough.
