headlight reflector melting???

Hello all I'm just curious to know if anybody else has had an issue with the Amber reflector in your quad headlights melting????

I doubt it's the bulb that's making it so hot. I think it's the angle that the sun hit the truck that particular day.

I doubt it's the sun melting it. These things are tested for that. I'm guessing, but are you running HID's in your headlights? That could be the problem... from what I hear, they put out a LOT of heat if not done correctly. IF, it's actually melting. But, I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express, so I really don't know what I'm talking about.

If he's running HIDs that would be a key piece of information he left out. Almost like not mentioning a tuner and asking if anyone has experienced engine problems...but I think you may be right.
