Help.....I mean to say hello guys but help about sums it up lol. I have a 2002 third Gen ram 1500 qc I want to retrofit my halogen lights to hid but I've no idea what I need to do. I'm not trying to do it incorrectly and be a hazard to other drivers. Looking at retroshop.Us and https://slimshidxenonsource.com/
I've no idea what I'm doing and I have limited resources. Any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

To do HID's on your truck you'll want a set of OEM style headlight capsules retrofitted to accept projector lenses and a good HID kit.

Retroshop did such a retrofit for my 2007 MegaCan. I got a pair of headlights online, shipped them to JJ and let him know what I wanted. My build included Morimoto projectors, shrouds a 6000K HID kit with 35W ballasts, all the harnesses & associated electrical components needed, a side marker blackout, low beam & turn signal bulb shroud delete and satin black paint.

After some tweaking with different capacitors (JJ referred to that truck as the Demon Truck From HID Hell :D), it worked great.

Yeah like MADDOG said, projectors are really the only way to have HID's and NOT be a hazard to other drivers as the HID burns WAYYYYY brighter then a halogen and in the chrome reflector bowl that MUCH brighter light reflects in every dang direction, up down left right lol your light output will be everywhere including the eyes of oncoming vehicles regardless of adjustment

EDIT: I will recommend JJ and Retroshop all day long kuz the man has awesome customer service and is very skilled at what he does

I’ve done my own headlights and a buddy’s three times now. If you have some patience and an oven, it’s not hard. 0a69aa707739dc32e7e4695e57245e3f.jpg

$360, if you buy some headlights for about ~$60 on eBay. I just picked up a set of stock looking lights. My old ones were scratched, faded and most of the hardware was rusted. I bought my projector and hid kit from The Retrofit Source, use code TRS10 to get 10% off [emoji1303]
