Hey all, I just got my 97 Ram about a month ago. It did not come with a headliner installed, so I made a trip to one of the local junkyards this past weekend. I couldn't find any single cab 97's, but I did find one that was a year or two newer. I got it home, got the old cloth off, and was starting to take the old foam off when I thought that maybe I should do a quick dry fit first, just to make sure everything fit right. Of course, it didn't. All of the holes lined up perfectly, but the corners did not fit into the plastic. The corners were too short, and they were not rolled right. Fortunately, I was out only a small amount, and it only took a few minutes to take out.
Does anybody know the years that are compatible with the 97's? Is it such a thing that only that year is the right fit? I searched this site for the answer, but was unable to find it anywhere on here. Any help on this is appreciated.
