Heads Up Display

Does anyone use an aftermarket one? How do you like it? Does it look stupid on your dash?

The reason I ask is I drove a car yesterday that had it and thought it was really neat. I'm leaning towards adding an aftermarket system to my RAM 1500

Before I bought my current ram I looked a Ford and Chev trucks.
The Chev had the heads up display but could not see it when wearing sunglasses.
IMO it is really just a gimmick that will grow old really fast and would be turned off after a short time.
