Headwinds

I have a 2018 crew with Hemi and typically get 21MPG (+/- 1) on the interstate. Drove 750 miles between Tuesday and Wednesday for Thanksgiving. 21 MPG on Tuesday and 16MPH on Wednesday due to the 20MPH (gusting to 50MPH) headwind. All others things were the same. I have seen headwinds make a difference, but never that much!

I swear I'm constantly in a tornado. And it does the same drops me to about 16-17. Doesn't matter which way I go I'm in a headwind somehow like 80% of the time

I have had it much worse - as low as 12 mpg in a 45 degree frontal headwind in winter. On my 2016 a straight on headwind will drop mpg but not as much as one coming from about a 45 degree angle to the front.

Same here, the last 2 trips west from Pa to Co or Wy, I have manage to hit headwinds both directions almost the entire trip both directions.
I mean how do you hit a headwind coming east from either Colorado or South Dakota and 2 times in a row!?!

What? Your saying that crazy wind patterns happen like that outside of Michigan? ..lol
I traverse I-94 on the east side of the state regularly, I swear the wind direction knows which way I'm headed and changes to headwind sometimes in a matter of an hour :-(
