if it indeed is 1 inch lower on one side, one possibility is there's a washer with the Bilsteins that quite often does not get installed in the right spot (under the cap, not on top is correct) and the rod of the shock can start pushing through the cap. i don't think you can see if its installed correctly or not without lifting that cover over the top of the shock. (maybe through the engine compartment?) someone has taken pictures that show the right and wrong install so there must be a way to see it from underneath.

That wont effect the ride height that greatly the spring is still in the same position regardless. However I would double check that just to be safe. As for the ride height issue I would look to confirm that the springs are seated in their perches correctly both top and bottom. If they are chances are it is spring sag

they can be put in upside down, believe it or not. you want them facing so they cup the coil. there's a kind of tube part of the perch that should be facing up and will be inside the coil. if you see that extending below the cup the coil sits on, its been put in upside down.

They are on the right way thanks.. I will probley try that 1/2 spacer thanks for that info ..I took the truck to the alignment shop he says it is within specs but I don't think it should be off that much. My son has a newer truck and both sides are spot on maybe I am worried about nothing.
