Hey everyone, this looks like an informative place to get so technical info for my newest acquisition so heres my introduction. My dad recently passed me his 1996 Ram 2500 4x4 clubcab long bed with the 8.0L V10. Only about 96k on it. He bought the truck brand new from Fullerton Dodge and I rode home in it from the dealer when I was 12 years old, now its mine. He recently just upgraded to a brand new powerstroke f250. It runs ok, but needs some attention as its been neglected over the past decade or so. Fuel guage doesn't work, passenger power window and doorlocks aren't functional, dash is disintegrated, brakes are in need of replacing and the clearcoat is bubbling up all over the horizontal surfaces. Since I've had it I've done an oil change, air filter change, and swapped out the non functional factory radio for an aftermarket one, though it only works half the time. I will be addressing that first as it's driving me crazy. I also have a new set of powerstop rotors and pads and will be attempting a brake swap, though I see with the heavy duty axles Dodge put on this thing, they will be a pain to get at. I also have an order in to LMC for the dash and some assorted parts to freshen up the interior. Thanks for reading, cant wait to dig into this thing and get it back to how I remember it.
