I got used to having one on my gen 4 for eight years. Definitely makes a big difference.

Would that help when towing a travel camper/trailer?

On a 1500 Airlift 5000 is what helps with towing ;) . And dont be a moron an T the air bags together .
I just watched a video on how this is done. a bit of work but nothing too difficult.

I’m going to contemplate this after all the other suspension components are changed. I did reach out to the gentleman who is a suspension parts supplier here. he replied once, but I had more questions. And again he’s probably busy.

With just over 131,000 miles would it be prudent to change to a Hellwig rear stabilizer bar with new end links? And I’m not sure if the rear control arms should also be changed? I was planning on using the Bilstein 5100’s in the rear. if I’m not mistaken, they have an option to raise the suspension a couple inches? Are there any other components in the rear that I’m overlooking?

I also plan on doing the front suspension.

That sounds like a solid plan to me :peace:

The rear control arms aren't necessary unless they are worn out or cracked. that be throwing money away IMHO in your application. Thats different when you are Lifted and Off-roading or big HP guys.

If they are worn out. Core makes a good replacement. The Claytons I have are more for off-roading purposes.

If you were closer id just give it to you... lol...

Also look into the Timbrens, Its a cheaper alternative. I also have a set of those collecting dust.

Airlift 1000 would be last on the list, They dont hold up in our climate. Those lasted only 2 years on my truck.
