Should have warranty still, no? Cause I doubt you’ll be able to find the issue without a good scanner. You know these trucks nowadays, their full of computers and modules.

Seems like the sensor that tells the computer that the truck is currently in park before you switch gears is caput.

Close the door.... and shoot us a video of it with the doors closed. There are safety protocols that don’t allow it to shift while the doors are open. They would only “ Sometimes” work and ram has recently released a firmware fix so they work all the time. This could be why it won’t move.

I don't think it can be the sensor. IF the truck thought it was in park, it wouldn't let you move it anyways. Not to mention, you got the error on screen when the doors open. You only get this error if you try to move the truck when the door is open. This means the truck knows it's not in park. I'm going to assume you already tested with the door closed, because when you first realized it wasn't working, the door was likely closed.

that said, it sounds to me like a transmission shift solenoid. It tells the truck that it's actually in a position to be able to move. Since you're tuned, and have a full delete, the chances of a dealer willing to even look at it are going to be slim. that's not an easily replaceable part by your average joe.

good luck!

Did you do any maintenance on the truck?
There was a guy that posted about his son-in-law who drained the transmission instead of the engine oil.
