So how about a little more information on the chattering.

Does it do it only when cold or does it do it all the time?

Does it chatter during acceleration? How about when just cruising down the highway?

Does it shift properly?

When was the last time you had the fluid changed? How many miles on your truck at present?

It doesn't cold hot it doesn't matter usually I notice it when I'm making a left hand turn on acceleration doesn't usually do it when I'm on a straight away usually when I'm going from a dead stop making it turn warm or cold I have a 121000 miles on it and now today the engine won't start all I get is a clicking wont turn over won't crank I don't know I'm throwing my hands up in the air right now

the second problem sounds like a dead battery or failed starter. Have your battery tested.

the first problem sounds like it is time to service your transmission and differential.

Apparently lol, holy run on sentences Batman. If I'm understanding you right, the chattering is only turns; that sounds like a front CV axle going. Check the boot to see if it's torn. The start issue could be the battery, or it may be just a dirty hot lead to the starter (I had this issue). Do you have at least 12v in the battery?
