I have a Kicker KX800.5 which is pushing 50 watts to each speaker and 400 watts to the sub in a 2014 Ram 1500. I have the Kicker 4 gauge amplifier wiring kit. Where and how are you guys connecting the power wire to the battery? I don't see a good way to connect it without modifying the red cover that goes over the positive battery terminal. I did see a place for power in the fuse box. Any thoughts on this location? As always pictures are a plus.

I don't think I even had to cut the red cover on mine. ill check later. but if so just trim it no big deal. usually the big issue is running the power wire into the cab, which in these trucks is easy also. in fact everything in these trucks is easy. lol

I had a loop connector on the end of my power cable, I put it on the + post attached to the side of the fuse box.
