help with ipod/iphone

ok wtf i hooked my ipod up to my gig radio and ya it plays after 10 mins of reading but cant use my touch screen on the ipod all it says the device is connected,any figure this out yet

If you plug an apple device in with a usb you cant use the device to control the music, have to use the radio some how

ya using the glove box the radio usb wont pick up ipod

yeah plugging an ipod or iphone to a usb from a head unit disables you to control the music from your device but you should be able to from the headunit
