Help with Odometer Issue on 1992 Dodge Ram B350

Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Grace, and I am the owner of a 1992 Dodge Ram B350. Currently, I am experiencing an issue with the odometer in my vehicle, as it has stopped working and no longer advances with the mileage.

I am living in Spain and have had difficulty finding a mechanic who specializes in this type of vehicle. Since I cannot pass the ITV (Vehicle Inspection) due to this issue, I would like to know if you could provide me with any information or instructions on how to fix this problem, or if there is a specialized shop that can assist with the repair.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or recommendations on how to proceed with fixing this issue.

Hi Grace,
there is 2 sensors that feed the pcm info to calculate speed, i would start by looking to make sure these 2 are plugged in well. there should be a wheel speed sensor on your rear differential and a speed sensor on the side of the transmission, checking these connections would be a good start.
