Help with touchscreen radio

I have a 2012 ram 1500 with the standard radio in it. I've been looking at putting a touch screen radio in it (a cheaper one) to see if I like it that much more before going to a really good one. Does anyone know if this one will work in my truck? Also would I need a harness or anything? Any help is great! you will be spending more on the harnesses and kits than the radio costs. yes you will need a wire harness, dash kit and antenna adapter.

as a previous professional installer for 10+ years i have seen many of these cheap brands go bad shortly after you get them i would push you towards a more reputable brand

if it was me i would dump a little more coin and get something like this: even though the screen is smaller its alot better deal

I would hands down go with the pioneer that baum mentioned. Had it in my last pickup and loved it. It was simple to use and touch screen is very accurate.

The kenwood looks nice, is there a harness or anything else I need to buy to install it? I'm completely out of it when it comes to buying harnesses, etc.

PAC C2R-CHY4 this is the harness that I used, it works great just don't pay the full $100 that places want. I got mine for less than 50 on an amazon deal.

I have the Kenwood DDX 470. Same as the 370 but with Bluetooth. I love it. Very nice radio. For the harness, I used the PAC C2R-CHY4. Works perfect. Crutchfield carries them for $100 but when you buy the headunit you can get the harness for 50% off so it'll be $50 which is a good price for that harness. You'll also get the mounting bracket and ant. adapter for free. There's another thread about harnesses for the 2012 Express and it seems there's another cheaper alternative if you want to pursue that.

+1 for Crutchfield. They are the best for ordering a stereo for a vehicle you aren't familiar with. They include a master sheet with disassembly instructions, and all the harnesses you'll need for hookup.

Ok so I got the Poineer AVH-P1400DVD head unit for Christmas. Does anyone know what harnesses or whatever I need to install it? I would prefer to do it myself (Well my uncle will do it). Will I still have to cut and splice wires with these harnesses? It came with one harness but idk what it's for.

Does anyone know why this head unit won't fit into the slot in my truck? I know I'll have to snip the metal piece inside the dash but it won't fit in the plastic portion. Does that have to be modified too?

Ok I've cut the parts that need to be cut. Both plastic and metal. Now if anyone could help me with the bezel and harnesses.... I'm still at a standstill on both and I'm going to a shop this weekend for wiring. Id like to have the bezel because idk if they'll have one. Any help? I'm begging....

Not sure on the plastic being modified but the harness you want is listed above its a PAC C2R-CHY4 that you need to interface with the can bus system. Good luck and just have patients, takes a bit to get everything to fit just the way you want it too.

Ok so I got the harness and everything is wired up aside from these three things and the radio won't come on. Can anyone help me figure out as to where these wires go? There's not a spot on the radio.
