Needing some ideas on what this could be.
07 5.7 hemi 2500 megacab.

Truck drives fine until weather. ( rain, snow, etc ) and then it’ll randomly start glugging at sometimes 1500, usually 2000 or sometimes 3000 RPMs. Turn it off, turn it back on and you’re good for a bit. Once it dries out if you disconnect the battery it doesn’t do it again.

It came to us with fuel problems that we’ve fixed. Aside from that we haven’t done much.

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what it is when it starts. Dodge uses pwm (pulse width modulation) on the fuel pumps to keep the fuel pressure where it needs to be. They do this because the fuel regulator is in the tank and there is no return system so it dials back the pump as needed. Just a guess. Seeing as it previously had fuel issues this could be something underlying in the system.

my sending unit had gone bad, so we dropped the tank. Ended up needing to completely replace tank, so it got a new fuel pump with that. It started a month or two after the fuel tank replacement now that I think about it.

But when it’s doing it it’s acting like it can’t shift.

Sorry if I’m all over the place, I’m not a very mechanically savvy woman.

If it acts up when the vehicle gets wet, most likely water getting into an electrical connector somewhere.
How old is the battery? Also check the grounds to the engine and body.

Battery came with the truck, so I’m not sure. We plan to replace it this week regardless.

It was scanned not too long ago. I plan to take it to the auto parts store and have it scanned.

Everything I’ve read talks about the APPS or TPS. It sounds similar to what those symptoms are.

Those we knew about.

C1036 which is my rear wheel speed sensor? We’re going to check the connection. Would this cause limp mode?
