Im trying to sell my truck, and curious, will i have to revert my truck to stock tune for California Smog? I have a 180 t-stat so the computer is also adjusted to not turn on CEL for 180.

Well you could try and smog it and see if it passes. If not revert it to stock. I recently left CA and the county where I lived we only had to smog when bought and sold the vehicle.

Curious on where you got a 180 T-stat for a 4.7,i never could find one for my old 2013 4.7

I don't remember from your other thread what year truck you had found that you are interested in but most likely you'll have to get a unlocked pcm. I don't pay to close of attention to tuners anymore. The price/hp ratio isn't worth it to me. The pedal commander does have my interest tho.

The Pedal Commander is a "fun" mod. No increase in hp or tq, but it sure wakes the acceleration up.

For sure anything above 2015 right has locked PCM? Looking at '15-17 6.4. But need to get rid of my truck first. Vroom insulted me with 8.5k trade in... Trying to get 15k. But i have to smog it, or promise it will pass to sell in the ********* state. I have the stock air hat which i will swap. But really dont wanna have to revert the tune if i dont need to.

Yes 15-18 has a locked pcm. Just looked at Moe's performance and your at a minimum of $900 for a tuner.

If you don't want to revert it back to the stock tune,make sure the tuner goes with the truck then,and you explain to the new owner it's tuned.Don't leave the new owner hooped by selling him a tuned truck and no tuner to revert back to stock if they ever need to revert it back.
