Not hard at all
I taped of on the body lined, washed it and scuffed by hand with a wet red scuff pad, some people use palm sanders it's just a matter of preference. I then washed again and wipe it down with rubbing alcohol really well and painted.
The better you scuff it and clean it the better te paint will stick
This was the second time I've done a set of rockers

It will fade out , but if you want it glossy .. get the bottle of UV top coat . It will keep her shinny for years .

just like to say that i had my rockers done professionally with rhino liner color matched. there is no comparison to the guy that lives down the street that done his with herculiner(he even said so). the quality, finish, thickness, warranty is WAY better than the do it yourself stuff. the only downfall is it does cost a good bit more. just depends on what you want.

Yes , but if you take the time and do it the correct way, the DIY kits are just as good . You rush them and the lack of prep makes them look bad .

I didn't want the thickness or texture of rhino liner/line x which is why I went with duplicolor
My brothers Cherokee saw a ton of abuse and it's already paid for itself on my girlfriends truck. Holding up great and my brother did his over 3 years ago
