With the paint...just have it repainted...the moulding, pullit off...the tail light cracks...replace them with tails from www.racer-union.com....the dash, put a coverlay on it from ebay, they run anywhere between $130-$180

For the paint, I would get the truck totally repainted so it'll match properly. For the tail light, you might be able to try bondo then sand it down and paint it again. The dash doesn't look terrible, but if you want to fix it, a cheap way to go is a carpet dash cover. I got mine on ebay for $30. It's pretty nice to.

Thats how we roll...it is great to see another second genner here though...kind of gets me excited to add to our 2nd gen line up...especially if she remains active, which I see her doing.

I pulled it off...just be careful cause those large white butterfly clips can break really easity...

Cleaned it with denatured alcohol, then took 1000 grit sandpaper and hand sanded it...then wiped it down with denatured alcohol again...

primed it with two coats of primer...sanded again with a 1200 grit I believe it was...

then hit it with two coats of Duplicolor General Motors Garnet Red Pearl paint...

LOL...oh and as for the light guards...I just wiped them down with alcohol and painted them with the same paint....you cant sand them down at all, cause the plastic they're made out of is too soft, you will end up scarring the material if you go to sand them. Surprisingly though, the paint is still holding up on them really well.
