HID Headlamp Issue?

Starting yesterday afternoon, my driver side HID bulb doesn't turn on.

Relay is good, still has right light on. Light flashes when i turn the headlights on, but doesn't stay on.

Bulb, or ballast?

Did you try switching the bulbs to see if the working bulb works with the ballast or vice versa?

Not yet.. Its such a pain in the ass to get to, and i dont have any replacement parts on hand, so trying to save a few steps if possible. Hoping someone will have experience on this one.

Im thinking its the ballast. But..

I guess i need to open the damn thing up. Grr.

What brand of ballast do you have?

These are DDM's which i had laying around. Never had issues with them before, but im thinking its what the problem is.

I just had this happen to my retroshop set. Passenger light wouldn't always come on. Cycle off and on and it would fire. Today it just died. I was told it was a bad bulb and had replacements sent out. Just need to find time to install them.

Ya I was enjoying being able to finally see while driving. Even only the one bulb is still better than both stock halogens.

Changed the bulbs, problem solved.
