A few months ago I had a shop install HIDs I bought from Retro Shop. Almost immediately I had condensation in the headlight housings and now my left turn signal is out. I think the condensation may have contributed to the turn signal burning out so soon. It's a 2017 with less than 15k miles on it. Any suggestions on how to prevent the condensation after I replace the turn signal bulb? Thanks

How’d they run the wires from the bulbs to the ballasts?

I drilled the back of the dust covers on mine and used the supplied grommets. I’ve seen some people just run the wires between the housing & dust cover, supposedly the covers gasket seals around the wires. Some people tetris everything into the housing.

If they drilled the holes and everything else seems tight, maybe a bead of silicone around the grommet might help.

Most of the condensation issues I’ve seen are because of the brown caps on the back of the light being pushed in too far. Those caps on the back are vents so you need to make sure they aren’t pushed in all the way. I would pull them almost completely all the way out and then maybe push them back down 1/4 of the way. You may have to put the light in a hot sunny place for awhile to get rid of any condensation before reinstalling it first. Try it, it worked for me. Good luck!

I wasn't there to see the install but they did say they would have to drill the housing.
