Hey guys,
So I have recently put in HID's into my 2012 quad lamp ram 1500 both high and low beam. My truck has DRL's because I am in Canada, so I have a little bit of an issue. I took it to a friend at a dealership to disable them and they changed my country code to Mexico because it was the only one that disabled my DRL's.
This was good and my HID's in the high beams worked perfectly, but I had another issue. Since my truck was now Mexican my satellite radio now does not work.
Is there any way to disable the DRL's in a wiring sense without tapping into the computer? I am currently using a relay harness, canbus ballasts, and capacitors in my wiring for the High beams. I imagine if my DRL's get turned back on then my DRL's will be high beam at full power.
Any ideas?
