Good deal keeping her on the road. I find it odd you did the spark plugs 14 times. That about ever 25-26k miles. I usually get 70-80. Went 90 once definitely too long. You’re catching up to me pretty quick though. 04 5.7 at 422,000+ now. Keep on Trucking. Lol

I have had the same axe for 45 years. I have replaced the handle 6x and the head twice.

How did you get so much warranty work? My friends and my ‘18 v6 both lost our #2 cylinders. My buddy took it to court and won but that did nothing.

2009 came with a lifetime powertrain warranty, or he purchased a lifetime\unlimited miles Max Care contract

Mine requires copper core plugs. Anything else and you burn up the coil packs.
I dont believe that to be true.....How would a coil know what its sending a charge to?...Mine is a '10,I switched after research of hearing the same thing.Members here enlightened me of the same as I thought.Others please chime in on this...Otherwise my engine is screwed.
Your 350k is a great milestone.
159k now for me.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I love this truck and will keep'er going as long as possible. Love 15 years without a car payment LOL...

Lol, but you had an "car payment" with maintenance and repairs.

My 09 came with a lifetime drive train warranty. What a life saver!

Not really, over the course of 15 years I just had maintenance cost. Most of the big jobs were warrantied with with life time drive train warranty.

For me, its no big deal. Once a year I spend 1 1/2 hrs changing plugs but this is what works for me.

My 09 is really low miles them at 111,000, but PA road salt in the winter is a killer to all vehicles. Even the ones that have been undercoated and rustproofed.
Oh please don't remind me. I am from Illinois and the rust breakout really hurts to watch. The rocker panels are gone, the rear wheel wells are breaking out and front fenders closest to the door. Undercarriage and floor boards are excellent
