Hood flutter?

My 2019 RAM 1500 had a recall for this issue. I never had this problem so I didn’t have the recall done. Maybe check to see if this a similar issue. Seems pretty damn bad if they didn’t fix a known problem on the newer models. Good luck getting the issue resolved!

I got a kick out of my 19.... aluminum hood I suppose. Annoying at 75 plus...worse at cutout. My furious fushia 2010 rt challenger sucked the bumper cover right out of part of the grill after hitting 154 or so once. ..almost made a warranty claim..lol but was able to muscle it back in...power wagon probably could of benifitted from two hood latches..cause mine really flapped...

Mebbe they don't consider a failure unless you go fast enough to peel 'er off?

1/2 turn up on the drivers side took care of it

Nothing a 10 min adjustment wouldn't cure.That's if the latch needs adjusting.1 min if you can do it with the stops.

Had some bad hood flutter doing around 80 MPH passing 18 wheelers. Had very heavy crosswinds that day as well. I seriously thought my hood was going to take off! Passed another Ram 2500 and saw his hood doing the same.

Other than that day under those conditions, it seems pretty buttoned down.
