So I'm gonna be removing my hood for some "stuff" here pretty soon lol

looking to hear any tips or anything I should be aware of...

this is a first for me so just trying to be prepared

Getting it off is easy...it's the getting it lighned up when reinstalling it that can be the PITA...

exactly. For a 2nd gen I'd have a second person on hand to help hold it when you take the bolts off.

yes reinstalling is the hard part, that is why my hood is not lined up. eventually it will get done but I got it too latch.

might be easier with the stock hood. Mine might be back on sometime depending if I can get funding around for a diesel

One thing to help you line it up a little, is pay attention to where the washers make marks on spots they bolt on to...if you line up the washers with the washer marks, you will be in the ballpark, then it's just fine tuning it.

What I usually do is mark where the washers are (marker, tape, scratch awl, you get the idea)
