It went from 34 1/2in on all 4 corners, to 31 1/2in front and 33in in rear. But it still a little to bouncy in back. Do I need to add another leaf spring ? The SRT10 front bumper cover is at paint shop. Once its painted and installed I'll post finished pics.

The math didn't work out. Are you sitting on the bump stops?

What do you mean the math didn't work out? The only one that didn't hive me the 2in drop was the rear shackles. As it only came down 1 1/2in, but the front came down the 3in as advertized by spring company. I will measure the drop tomorrow as it has had a week to settle...

I thought you had installed 3" springs in the rear along with the 2" shackles. which would have been a 4 1/2" drop. The 2" shackles always work out to 1 1/2". But I see you did 3" drop springs in the front and the shackles in the rear. You no doubt had to knock the cups off the front or you are bottomed out on them. I used Tembren rubber springs to control the front after removing the cups. 3" is a lot of drop for springs on these trucks.

Redtruck- your right, I am sitting on the front bump stops. What must I do to correct this as I only noticed it yesterday after you mentioned it. Do I just knock off the bump stop holders? Or install the spacer you speak of.

The steel cups are spot welded inplace. Use a grinder to cut the weld on one side and then drive a chisel under it and break it off. Then grind the broken weld smooth. Your next problem is that on hard compression your tires will rub the inner fender liner. I use Timbren rubber springs to control suspension travel. Use the search function for "Tembren" I have posted the part numbers and source several times over the last couple of years.

Redtruck, that looks like a lot of work, to install the tremben bump stops. I will install 1in spring spacer and see how well that works. It would go back up to 32 1/2in in front, and I'm ok with that as rear is at 33in. I would still have that slight rake stance I like and it is still lower than before.

Of course it is your truck and it is up to you what you want to do with it, however I'd be surprised if you are satisfied with the ride/handling leaving the OEM bumps in place.

as long as its no longer sitting on the bump stops , the ride should improve, right?

Go take a look at a truck similar to yours with stock springs and look at the gap between the OEM bump and Lower control arm, then you can decide if it'll work for you or not.

I looked at a buddys dodge at work and WOW! There really is 1in from bumpstop to lower control arms. I went ahead and installed the spring booster spacer and it gave me enough clearence. Plus the ride is a lot better. But let me ask, this, what truck has the rear sway bar that will fit my 1500? Or do I have to buy new from vendor?

Since the alignment question remained somewhat unanswered, I'll hit that one.

With 3" coils in the front, You are going to be way negative in camber. With the rear being slightly higher, that will help with caster, but with all the negative camber the caster is going to be out of spec too. Does the truck feel like the steering is heavier? does it not want to return as well? I've done one dodge with cut coils, he was 2.5" lower after install, I had to slot the LCA mounts to get the camber back to a point that it wouldnt eat tires, and it allowed for caster adjustment in the process. With the 1" spacer you might be able to sneak it back to at least a tolerable camber/caster reading.

if not, you're looking at the base price of an alignment (usually 50-90 bucks) plus an additional 1.5hrs per side labor to slot the mounts and make the adjustments(since the factory cams wont move it into the slots, you now have to muscle it into position with a prybar), all in all I think it was a $420 alignment or something like that.
