How can you tell if It is a nav radio

I found a 8.4 the guy said it is a nav but I'm not sure now.

If it is not a Nav radio, there is a company/website that you can get the Nav enabled.
Search for Navrepair

Don't buy it. You can tell if it's NAV by the label. That is a VP3 NA (non-NAV but NAV capable for $500-$600).

You want a VP4 NA, aka RA4, aka 8.4 with NAV / 3D Maps /HD radio.

How much is he asking?

When I bought an RA3 it was only $140. I might pay that if it had NAV activated and the custom harness.

Well, that's really up to you. I wanted the NAV so I didn't use my data plan and I like how it displays Navigation on the highway. I also like HD radio which should be on the RA3, RA2, and RA1 but isn't.

I wouldn't buy that set you mentioned at that price, but if you use your phone for Navigation anyways you could pick up an RA3 at a good price and use the money you saved to get a LockPick Air v2. Then you could stream your phone navigation to your 8.4 screen.

Sometimes you get lucky. I got my RA4 from LKQ online for $275 shipped. Patience is key on the used parts market...

Totaly agree with SitKneelBend. That price seems a little high for an RA3. The RA4 has alot more features and I enjoy having the Nav right there whenever I need it. Remember you want the VP4 NA which stands for North America which has the Real Time Traffic and Travel Link capabilities...sometimes you just need to be patient. You will find one if you search the sites frequently.....good luck
