Damn that's simply amazing! I'm sitting here in S.C. waiting for a hurricane and its going to be 88*F for a high today. As much as I despise ice and snow I don't know why anybody would trade cold weather for this. Hell I won't start thinking about winter until early December.
I'm usually good until mid October. I'd say in a week it'll be sunny again for a few weeks before winter really kicks in. I'll take snow over a hurricane for sure. Stay safe.

They don't come down to the rim. Only place its a bit close is where the latch is and its pulled down by the bungee. Camera angle makes it look closer than it is.

Getting to be that time again. Pulling the winter tires out of storage today to make sure they're still full of air.

I put the light chains, recovery straps, and D-rings into the Ram boxes. Start using de-icer style windshield washer fluid, as someone already mentioned. Throw my sandbags into the back for extra weight too, but I usually wait until the first forecast of decent snowfall for that.

Oh yeah, I'll check that the garage heater still works too. :)

Bitter cold last night; +64 degrees F... Started right up though....

When I move back to MI I'll get a block heater: -10 there a couple days ago. Until then, I'm doing everything in my power to keep temps down.

Bitter cold? LMAO

From northern Ontario last year. Keep the truck plugged in overnight and no problems starting lol

Of course having a well maintained truck and battery helps too

Just remember next time you complain it’s cold outside someone always has it worse haha. You don’t know cold until you experience wind chill of -65 to your face

I'd rather just be put out to pasture than to ever even visit a place where the weather said "freezing fog", let alone actually live there!

I spent 1 year in New Jersey (mid 05 to late 06), and if I never see another snowflake the rest of my life, I could die a happy man. I'm not sure how human beings intentionally subject themselves to such temperatures.

I'll take my chemical plants/refineries and random shootouts to keep my south Texas winter, lol. Hell, even our winters are too cold for me.

When you’re born and raised in this temperature you learn to love it lol. I also live on a snowmobile once the snow hits

True that. I was born and raised on the Texas gulf coast. I’m well acclimated to the heat and humidity. I’d take my 100+ degree stupid high humidity temps year round over a cold winter if I had it my way.
